About Jarrod Hoare
A multi-lingual entertainer, Jarrod educates and inspires through performing arts, specializing in the traditional Japanese arts of Kyōgen, Rakugo and Kamishibai.
The proud recipient of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Japan Travel Fund, thanks to Arts South Australia, Jarrod had the honour of studying under several Japanese masters.
Throughout Australia, Jarrod tailors interactive performances and workshops to suit the needs of students, teachers, festivals and community groups.
Jarrod’s passion lies in developing bridges of cultural and artistic exchange between Australia and Japan.
Having lived in Japan for several years, Jarrod is a confident communicator in Japanese, with a distinct Kansai accent!
Jarrod is also an experienced children’s educator, enjoying his outdoor roles at Monarto Zoo and Mylor Adventure Camp.
Jarrod also works as a professional presenter & actor, represented by AAA Talent. Having worked on many Japanese films and crazy TV shows, he’s lucky to have survived!
Annual General Meeting
We also held our Annual General Meeting on the same evening with awards being presented to Catherine Emmerson (belated certificate for being JLTASA Life Member 2014) and James Tran received a certificate of appreciation for being JLTASA Treasurer.
