About this event
This seminar will give teachers the opportunity to be immersed in a Japanese language environment, participating in activities to use and develop Japanese language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and learn more about Japanese culture. Teachers will be encouraged to use Japanese at all times in a supportive and reassuring environment.
Teachers of all levels and abilities of Japanese are welcome; scaffolding and support (some English cues and hints) will be provided. Activities may be adapted for use in the classroom.
This seminar is suitable for all teachers, everyone is welcome. Native/background speakers of Japanese are also encouraged to participate as activities and strategies will be
adaptable for classroom use.
What to bring
Please bring your laptop/iPad/smart phone (wi-fi will be available).
Catering
Morning tea will be provided.
Lunch may be ordered from O’Sushi O’Bento for those who wish to do so at an extra cost of $10 per person. You are welcome to bring your own lunch instead.

Non-Members: $75 per person.
